In a world where people have forsaken sleep in order to do more things, one girl, Nara, still sleeps. All her classmates make fun of her. But since she's the only one who still sleeps, she's the only one who still dreams.

Fundraiser Update

$945 has been raised! I can't believe how generous everyone's been.

Unfortunately the next 18 scenes will be posted slowly over the next month or so. The Canadian Film Centre has definitely been successful in keeping me busy.

Midnight Writing in Toronto

I'm in the middle of moving my life to Toronto. Important questions abound like, "My rice cooker is flying out with me. Should I bring my muffin tins too?"

Once I (and my rice cooker, and maybe my muffin tins) arrive in Toronto. I'll post the next two scenes as generously supported by our fundraiser donors.

I was ecstatic when I was admitted into the T.V. writing program at the Canadian Film Centre. In previous years, government agencies gave CFC attendees financial support ranging from $3,000 to $15,000. However this year, because of government cutbacks, the funding available is exactly zero.

My goal is to raise $5,000 by Sept. 30, through small donations from friends and family. The money would cover FIVE months of very humble living expenses in Toronto. I know times are really tight. So I'm not looking for large contributions, but little contributions from the heart.
