My fav new show is a domestic!

Now that CBC's got a chick equally as cool, hot and witty as the Strombo on the roster and now that I finally caught her name, I can actually link her, (and no, that aint a link to the Shortbus website, the worst f'in flick ive seen since Magnolia) they actually seem to have a good chance to get Canadians to watch an actual Canadain TV show. Trailer Park Boys aside (and maybe some of our American spinoff reality shows), I dont know anyone who actually watches a Canadian TV show, show, like an actual show thats not hockey or news or whatever.
But after losing interest in 24, the O.C. (even though I caught the season premiere tonight, Summer's still a breeze but i lost interest before the show was done), House (even though that guy's himself still rules big time), I was quite pleasantly suprised to find myself waiting for this crime drama show to come on every week on CBC that is filmed in Vancovuer but is set in Vancouver with all that good stuff: espionage, organized crime, prostitution, inter-company backstabbing, informants, and a whole lotta grey area for all involved. Cliche as it may sound though, it has a really distinct Canadian vibe to it that makes it seem all that more real and....unique for watching a crime drama on TV.
But coming from the guy who brought us the Da Vinci series, Chris Haddock, it seems like a logical progression.
Check out Intelligence every Tuesday at 9pm on CBC.
