More to Finland than spas & hockey – DARUDE in Vancouver

DARUDE performs at Club XOX in Richmond this Saturday, May 27th to deliver his progressive melodic trance mixed with tech, breaks, house, and a little heavy metal thrown in. Okay, but who….?

Finnish dj DARUDE came by this name after his friends started to call him “The Rude” then “Da Rude” since he continuously played 'Rude Boy' by Leila K. Friends at parties. If you’re still scratching your head because DARUDE sounds familiar but you don’t know why, scratch no more [no pun intended on the scratch reference]—DARUDE is best known for his 2000 platinum hit “Sandstorm”. Click onto youtube video of “Sandstorm” here to refresh your memory. Ah ha! You got it!
