Model by day, Queen of Drum’n’Bass House by night – DJ Rap @ Tokyo Lounge

DJ RAP, aka Charissa Saverio, is the undisputed queen of the turntables and the number one female DJ in the world. This Italian-Irish-Malyasian DJ out of the UK, via Singapore, is a DJ, producer, actress and model to boot. Her innovative beats pull elements of rock, trance and house into the drum & bass format, best heard on her album “Bulletproof”. She’ll be performing at Tokyo Lounge on Saturday, May 27th.
Calvin Klein was wowed by her so much, he personally offered her to be a model in his denim campaign in 2002, and if that doesn’t add to her Lady Luck, DJ RAP was also the first female artist to be sponsored by PLAYSTATION to make music for their games, including the promo track for the launch of Nintendo DS.
