Go to the Vancouver International Digital Festival (VIDFEST) for Free!

Calling all game developers, animators, interactive designers, creative directors, producers, mobile content developers and digital filmmakers!

Welcome to VIDFEST 2006 (Vancouver International Digital Festival) from June 14-16 in Vancouver, BC. The organizers promise you’ll “meet the Masters of the Digital Universe” who push the boundaries of digital media in the 3 days of learning, sharing, networking, and fun.

Want to hobnob with digital visionaries from all over the world at VIDFEST? Maybe catch a chat with keynote speaker, Atari and Pong’s Nolan Bushnell, known as the “Father of the Video Game Industry”. Yes? Then move your ass NOW! and take advantage of Interactive Project Lab’s grant of up to $2,000 to cover expenses to VIDFEST including transportation, accommodation, registration fee, and per diems to a qualified applicant (like you!). **DEADLINE: June 7, 2006**

To qualify, applicants must be:
(1) a new media producer or developer who has recently graduated or begun working in interactive media
(2) developing a current interactive project
(3) a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant

Applicants are selected based on the submission of a statement of intent and online portfolio and/or description of project in development. For more info and to apply go iplab.infivia.com.
