Calling all gadget-loving runners – The Nike+iPod ™ Sports Kit

People have been running for recreation or as a necessity forever. Forever! People have been running the same way with or without fancy running shoes (African marathoners running barefoot still tend to kick the ass of fancy-shoe wearing runners) forever too. Yet "they" continue to convince consumers we need more stuff to run better, thus the unique partnership between Nike and Apple has come up with the Nike+iPod ™ Sports Kit which they promise “will change the way people run”. Like ass backwards?
Actually…Nike+iPod ™ Sports Kit promises to act as your coach, your personal trainer and your favorite workout companion (apparently social interaction is not the point of sports). The teensy
Prelim reports say Nike+iPod ™ Sports Kit will retail for $29.00 (US). The pre-sale starts before the July 13th release date through Apple Store®, Apple's retail stores, Apple Authorized Resellers as well as Nike.com, Niketown, NikeWomen stores and select retail stores in the Canada and the US.
