Carribean Days Festival

I now know that there's more to "Caribbean" than spicy jamaican patties, white beaches and rum. "Carribean" also means "summer in North Vancouver." O.K. Well, maybe not exactly, but last weekend it sure did.

The hot summer sun came just in time to shine upon the North Shore's signature event of the summer: Caribbean Days Festival at Waterfront Park. There were colorful booths, live performances, and a ton of people. From Currolicious to the "Nice-n-Spicy" Reggae Cafe, the festival brought an array of flavours from the Caribbean.
Take a look at the jambalaya of fun and wish that you were there with Schema's own photos.
