29th annual Powell Street Festival

Its the BC Day long weekend and its that time of year to head down to Oppenheimer park. No, not to chill with the crackheads, but to do a little bon-odori dance, eat takoyaki, and watch guys wrestle with huge gaunch pull straps. SO DESU (yep, thats right), its the 29th annual Powell Street Festival!

Jamaican me hot...

I now know that there's more to "Caribbean" than spicy jamaican patties, white beaches and rum. "Carribean" also means "summer in North Vancouver." O.K. Well, maybe not exactly, but last weekend it sure did.
