Come Fly With Me...

Sekoya

All you cool cats, it's that time of year where that awful beret you bought will finally come in handy. The 2005 Vancouver International Jazz Fest kicks off June 24 and runs until July 3, offering a melange of everything from traditional to nu-jazz and latin jazz to afro-beat.

Don't forget about all the free shows happening in Gastown, Granville Island, the Vancouver Art Gallery and best of all, David Lam park on the seawall. The lineup for all the free shows can be checked out here.

Vancouver nu-jazz collective Sekoya will be performing a free show at the Ben Q stage at the VAG on July 1 @ 5pm as will local Taiko ensemble, Uzume Taiko, on July 2 @ 12pm.
