PAGSILANG: Birth
On Saturday, June 11th, local Filipino performing group Kababayang Pilipino, along with special guests LIKHA of San Francisco, will grace the stage of Queen Elizabeth Theatre for the commemorative performace of “PAGSILANG-Birth”.
Formed in 1993, Kababayang Pilipino has been wowing audiences with their mix of dynamic and dramatic traditional Filipino dance interpretations, complimented by authentic and brilliant costuming and fiery live musical accompaniment. With over 40 members, mainly 1st-gen Filipinos, they strive to educate the community about the rich history and culture of the Filipino.
