The Least Likely

This is just about the strangest thing. It's a PSA encouraging young asian americans to go and vote, which is pretty chill... BUT at the same time, they are asking you on the website if you want to see this PSA turned into a movie? Am I missing something? They don't tell you what the plot of this movie would be, just that it would have Russell Wong, Kelly Hu, and some other stars.

PS: Kelly Hu still looks hot, but Russell Wong is going DOWN HILL...

The Least Likely Quicktime trailer/psa?

That was somewhat painful to watch.

Kinda weird....
Dunno if that'll really have any impact on such an important matter...

But always nice to have Ming Na....

What the bleep is this? Wow talk about marginalizing the asian community. Election time in the US makes me want to hide under a rock away from all propaganda. It gets so blatant around election times.

And whats with the whole futuristic thing? Is that what market researchers found would appeal to young asians? cough cough

yeah, i don't think i'll be racing to see that as a movie anytime soon, as adorable as John Cho and Ming-Na may be...

let's put this into perspective for a moment. the ad was designed for MTV. MTV already has crass ideas about what appeals to young people, women, hispanics, queers - so why not add asians into the mix? don't we deserve to be condescended to as much as every other market segment?

if you're able to separate everything that's wrong with it from it, the whole thing is pretty funny. the way watching the presidential debates could be funny if i wasn't so completely terrified about what will happen to the world because of this election.
