Nerve on Yellow Porn
We've visited this project a few months back, and now Nerve is doing yet another story on it. Basically the same spiel... is it interesting that an Asian professor is making a porn with asian actors as a statement and as a tool against the under sexualization of Asian men in North America? That's kinda what they are asking...
But here's what I am wondering...
Is it just me, or does the porn look like it's really gonna be bad? I mean, really what does a professor of whatever he is know about filmaking? Film eroticism?
I mean, damn it, what would be the point if its not hot?
Arrgh... bad porn...

Celebrate Brazil's Independence Day with some Capoeira
Can you say no to "An afternoon of Brazilian Music, Samba, beautiful costumes and Capoeira performed by amazing Capoeira Masters from all over the world."?
I can't cause... you know, have you ever walked by one of those Capoeira schools? How come they are always so damn loaded with hot bodies? Um... okay, evem if you are not nearly as desperate/perverted as me, you probably still be very entertained by the music and the holy-crud-did-she-just-do-that acrobatics. Very cool stuff...

Hong Kong Culinary Speakeasies
"Take the concept of the speakeasy (si fang cai), the intimate eating places that have sprung up in people's homes and have become, for locals and those in the know, some of the best places to eat on the island. The speakeasies started several years ago when some Hong Kongese, gastronomes and cooks with limited means, decided to set up one or two tables in their sitting rooms and offer a fixed-price, multicourse menu of distinctive home-style dishes."
