Powell Street Festival this weekend
"Colourful costumes and displays, eclectic entertainment, demonstrations of skill and strength, savoury food - sushi... tempura... salmon teriyaki - and friendly people. These are the main ingredients of the Powell Street Festival, the annual mid-summer celebration of Asian Canadian arts, history and culture in Vancouver, Canada. The Festival features dance, music, theatre, exhibits, sumo matches, martial arts, crafts and delectable foods."

The shindig actually looks up to the times now!
STAY TUNED FOR THE PARTIES NEXT WEEKEND, esp. Jean Okada's COMING OF AGE, AUG. 7. Needle Kineval will be spinning there aswell...
At last, us some funk up with the fest...maybe we can be as cool as those Pinoys/nays now? Ha!
