Interview with Mohja, a Muslim Sexpert
Nerve.com interviews Mohja Kahf, a sex columnist for the progressive Islamic website Muslim Wakeup. Instead of the standard cold and clinical, or quirky "ha ha let's laugh off our discomfort" treatments to sex, her column, Sex & the Umma, explores modern sexual issues confronting young muslims with short fiction. Which is perhaps even harder to write off for the conservatively minded, because I think their impact can much stronger.

That's very interesting. It's always good to find out more, hopefully this will be a catalyst for people to learn more about Islam and how the culture is instead of how it is portrayed in the media.

Sex and the Koran?
Well it is coo to see one of the worlds most modernly mystified religions get some dialogue on the other basic elements of being.
What really sucks is how much risk these brave commentators take in speaking about anything 'taboo' about the religion.
Being verbally blasted is one thing but...
Good to hear.
