Get your Indian music on
Anurag Jain, a blogger and chemical engineer in Bangalore, archives a comprehensive list of obscure and big name indian music acts, everything from fusion, to pop, to my favorite from the list... Moshka - the only Indian band featured on an Iron Maiden tribute album. Oh no my friends... take heed... heavy metal will never die!

Saw this documentary on the tabla drums and how a dude from the states travelled to India to learn.
The drums of that sort are the original instruments I guess and are only played with the hand but there are numerous ways to hit the things with your hands.
Where you hit the things also varies the beat sound.
Pretty coo shit.
Before Punjabi MCs Jay-Z remix, Thievery was putting the bangra breaks down in 96.
