Joe Cha of K-town: Top 3 Things His Parents Wanted Him to Be

By Robert Paranguo

In our experience, Asian parents can have some pretty high expectations. Unsurprisingly, K-Town star Joe Cha goes through the same parental pressures we all do.

Despite having studied at the University of Washington and being the co-founder and partner of his own event planning and marketing firm (Reflective Productions) he also has a fitness business helping clients get in shape. Schema Magazine recently asked Joe about what his parents wanted him to be.

In Joe's own choice words:

My parents wanted me to be either a doctor, lawyer or a dentist. Typical sh*t, right?

Don't worry, Joe, pretty sure you being a successful business owner is making them mighty proud!

During the entire series, Schema Magazine will be posting exclusive in-depth profiles of the K-Town cast. Join Schema Magazine's live twitter chat every Wednesday at 7.30 PM Pacific. Find it using #ktown. Or send us your thoughts @schema_magazine.
