Migr@tions | Online Film Festival
Organized by RCIviva, Radio-Canada International's web-based service, Migr@tions has officially launched it's online film festival spanning for seven weeks from last Thursday.
So, from now until December, be sure to check out the online festival where 80 short documentaries and dramas dealing with immigration will be shown and voted on by viewers.
Each of the four to nine minute films come from more than 22 different countries across the world. Up to $25,000 in prizes will be given to the short films, and voters themselves will be given a chance to win an iPod each week...so don't forget to cast your vote!

Also, My Loud Speaker will be hosting a private screening at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver this coming Tuesday, October 28th from 8-10pm. A CBC representative will also be attending and audiences will be given the opportunity to pitch a news story on immigration and/or diversity, so to all you writers...bring your portfolio!
