Target -- or as we Canadians learned, it's fondly referred to as "Tar-jay" -- is now featuring an affordable and chic collection from their 12th GO International designer, RICHARD CHAI. Target has previously featured collections from the likes of Paul+Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Temperley, and Jovovich Hawk.
Chai is an Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation winner AND one of People's 2004 Sexiest Men Alive -- heh heh. The Korean-American designer interned at Oscar de la Renta and Christian Dior; helped launch the Marc by Marc Jacobs line; designed at Donna Karan, Geoffrey Beene, Nave, and TSE; and finally launched his own line in 2004.
What you'll find in the Richard Chai for Target collection? Chai's modern yet minimalist designs with old-world detailing like bias tapes and French seams. And on the cheap too...and you can always tell someone who hasn't heard of Richard Chai something like this: "Richard Chai? Oh, everyone knows he's like the new Calvin Klein." Oh *snap*!

Ooh I love that trench coat! Hopefully the quality in person is as good as it looks in pictures.
