Gilbert Arenas | "Everybody Should Visit Manila"

Last month, GILBERT ARENAS, the Washington Wizards All-Star, went on a 12-day trip that consisted of stops in Shanghai, Berlin, Barcelona, and Manila. He wrote all about this trip in his blog.

Now, I know what you're thinking..."Gilbert Arenas has a blog!?" Well, yes, he does. It would normally go unnoticed, except for his fans who actually know who he is. Come on. Please. However, about his trip, the title of his blog entry is "Everybody Should Visit Manila." A grand statement, right? So why visit Manila, Gilbert?

Well, according to his blog, the city experience itself was "unreal" and will undoubtedly "bring your spirits up." But that's not all -- he goes on to give glowing praise to the residents of the city:

One thing I want to say about Filipinos: they're very warm people, very good-hearted people. Like, everybody was nice. You know, you meet nice people, but a whole country of nice, genuine, warm-hearted people was unbelievable. These are diehard fans.

Dude. For real? No doubt that they're nice people, but for the most part they're nice to you because you're a towering 6'4" basketball player...and maybe with the surname Arenas this makes you family...and maybe, just maybe if the photo under-the-cut is any indication, we're thinking you spent quality time with some very nice, genuine, warm-hearted ladies who only recently took up a liking to basketball. Just saying.
