Diplo/M.I.A. nooz...

Is Spin mag's 2005 artist of the year and DJ of the year still together? Who knows? But it does appear that the Dipmeister is now mastering M.I.A.'s hugely anticipated sophmore album and word is also that M.I.A. did, in fact, hook up with Timbaland for the record. So we got Promiscuous Girl, Sexyback and then we'll get Sexy Tamil Tigress Girl next? Anyhow, M.I.A. has apparently been hanging out in Liberia and America's premier baile funk ambassador not only recently remixed M.I.A.'s web leaked XR 2 but also finally seems to be near the completition of his Favela on Blast documentary. Some of the images seen in this preview might be familar since we've been bombarded with the cool of Brazil in recent times but now under the funk of the favelas, the ghettoes of Rio can be united with any suburban joe in the western world. With what uniting factor? Well, booty beats of course.
