« Recap: WONG FU "A Moment With You"- Vancouver screening | Main | Give a holiday cheer using world architecture @ GeoGreetings »

Take Action Today! INTERNATIONALLY: Around 40 million people are living with HIV throughout the world - and that number increases in every region every day. IN CANADA: Every 2 hours, someone in Canada is infected with HIV. An estimated 58,000 people are living with HIV/AIDS - a 16% increase since 2002. Of these Canadians, 27% do not know they are infected with HIV/AIDS. Ignorance and prejudice are fuelling the spread of a preventable disease.
World AIDS Day, 1 December is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV and AIDS. The theme for World AIDS Day 2006 is accountability. Stop AIDS. Keep the promise.
