I gave a presentation for international students at a networking event and opportunity for students to meet with employers and international alumni and get tips on finding a great job. I was part of a panel that gave perspectives on topics such as:
- The job market for international students
- Conveying the benefits of being an international student to employers
- Overcoming the job search challenges that face international students
Knowing your brand and perfect telling your story. Know how your background and languages are assets. As a public speaker, focus on confidence rather than accent. Be interesting to be around.
