How to choose a career (that makes a difference)

Thomas Haney Secondary School, Maple Ridge | Map Wednesday March 17, 2010 | 4:00 - 5:30 PM

I spoke to a group of high school students in Maple Ridge on success tips and on building a career in social change. It aimed to give some direction to students who aspire to be change-makers, or are struggling with the direction of their post-secondary education.
What I spoke on:

  • How to choose a career (that makes a difference).
  • Tips for success as a change-maker. Now and in the Future.
  • Leadership Development for High School students.
  • Followed by a discussion about stereotypes and pop-culture and media.

This session is part of the Youth Leadership Workshop Series presented by the Family Education and Support Centre.
